Unfortunately, this piece sold long ago. It is actually rare that I get a picture of a carving up online before I sell it. DA will change this, because I no longer have to wait for someone else to post it. I'm still learning HTML.

Of the ones I have posted, I still possess the 5 unfinished pieces, Rah ($750), the Celtic hand mirror, the Pegacorn ($250), and the Spirit Horse. I'd have to look up the prices for the two smaller pieces. I also have cast stone replicas of Benediction ($95). I will try to post more photos of works I still have in my hands soon. But often my motivation for photographing a piece is that someone wants to walk away with it, and I can only let it go if I have a picture.

The phoenix is one of my favorite myths, and I will and have carved others. I'm working on a cross stitch pattern of one as well, but until stitchery pays more of the bills, that one gets to sit on the back burner.

As soon as I read it had sold, I must admit I was a bit disappointed. It really is a work of art. But it also looks like I'd be saving for a while should I like to have one. Which is fine, because they are priced exactly as they should be!

Aye, the phoenix remains one of my favorites as well. Rebirth is certainly an inspiration for more than woodcarving, I can assure you.

I adore the myth of the phoenix and this truly makes it come alive (: I can tell you worked very meticulously-- look at the details!
