I haven't been very active here in months.  I'm glad you all like the new pieces.  Part of the problem is that I've been inspired to do bigger pieces, that take time and motivation to finish.  The other problem has been that the Tung Oils that I use for colors have gone out of production.  I found a new source for a closely related product, that I have yet to try.  I have a show coming up in 3 weeks, where I display my wood.  I guess I had better get busy. Well, it is winter, and the Ren Fair Season is over.  I am going to spend a bit of time replying to all of the messages that I have received since spring, and then I will hopefully get back to posting and making art. That is my plan.

I am in the midst of my crazy summer hairstick commuting ritual.  Every Friday I hop in my car and spend up to 8 hours driving to New York.  Let me just say that the roads in Pennsylvania Suck! So, the gist of my message is:  I'm thinking of you, and of DA, but I am running around like a proverbial decapitated hen, just trying to catch up. When the summer nutjob is over, I will be at the Maryland Renaissance Festival, my home show, and I will be showing and selling my carvings.  Hopefully this will allow me the luxury of uploading new image to DA, 'cause I'm already taking the pics.
